Hi there!
I am Ashley and I am a 29+ year old mother from northern California. I have always had a passion for everything that revolves around beauty products and with that comes an obsession for good make-up, high quality brushes, and other beauty products. Following other beauty bloggers inspired me to finally start my own internet presence and share some of my own experiences.
The passion for beauty products lead me to pursue a career in the retail business to become finally a manager of one of the big cosmetic chain stores. It is satisfying to work around the products I love and having the chance to get a feel for pretty much all new trends before others. However, I realized that I want more than just advising customers which products they may like best, so I took the first steps to become a licensed esthetician. I can’t wait to learn everything about skincare, treatments, professional makeup and all other tricks and secrets of the trade. This will enable me to help and educate others to deal with their skin issues and build a foundation for a beautiful and healthy – I should say “ravishing” – look from the bottom up.
In my blog I will talk about all things beauty related from products reviews, makeup tutorials and skincare, to lifestyle topics. I will also eventually touch on my experiences along the path to become an esthetician.
